"Faithfulness and Blessing"

In our last two messages, we spoke of Eli’s 2 sons, Hophni and Phineas. They were disrespecting the sacrifices and keeping more that they were supposed to. God pronounced judgement on Eli’s household and carried it out, Hophni and Phineas both died on the same day as a sign that God’s judgement would come to pass.

Nestled between the lines of that story, we see Samuel fulfilling the terms of Hannah’s vow for him. We go back a few verses from the judgement on the house of Eli, to verses 18-21, and verse 26 of 1 Samuel, as we talk about “Faithfulness and Blessing”
