"Free Indeed

We have just celebrated our nation’s 249th birthday. The Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4th, 1776, and was signed by 56 delegates representing the 13 Colonies.

Many people died as they fought for our independence from British Rule. Over the last 249 years, many more lives have been lost fighting to ensure our freedom remains intact.

But there’s freedom that’s far above our nation’s freedom. It too was bought with a price. Its price was one man’s life. This was none other than the Son of God who gave His life for a different kind of freedom. John 8:36, Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
