"God's Patient Call to Repentance and Remembrance"

In this final chapter of Peter’s letters, he gives the reason for the writing. There has been much discussion about false prophets and false teachers, not only here, but in Paul’s writings as well. It is important for us to know the truth of God’s word to keep us from believing the lies of Satan.

In both letters, he wants to “stir up” in their minds some things. They are his beloved, his family, fellow brothers, and sisters in Christ. This is how we should all be toward fellow Christians
